Not all actions are results of our conscious decisions. Most of our actions are results of what I call "Mental Reflex Actions" on which we have little control. |
What is stopping you from taking this opportunity is YOU. You are inhibited by thoughts like "I do not know technology. It is very confusing. My younger colleagues are more IT Savvy. I will make a fool of myself if my ignorance is shown."
Look into yourself, there are more thoughts which are stopping you. "IT guys don't understand my business. They are too finicky, too rigid and too adamant. Let me not mess around with them. It is better if they keep away."
In reality, ERPs and IT projects fail not because of technical flaws, they fail more due to people related issues.
There are two types of people issues, both due to deep rooted subconscious conditioning of the mind.
The first issue is a result of our subconscious rules and expectations, and a psychological phenomenon which I call "Living in the Past Syndrome". Typically, most projects start off with very high expectations, soon to be replaced by disappointments and then frustration. We think that the computer is a superior machine. According to our common experience, machines do wonderful jobs and there is very little we little we need to know or do, except maybe in case of very sophisticated machines. We are extremely happy with the machines we use in our normal personal life. The second issue is a result of our subconscious fear of the unknown - "I do not know technology" and "I am not OK" syndrome.
This seminar digs into the subconscious and helps rediscover the truth.
This seminar dwells
on the
conscious and the subconscious. Most of our actions are
results of what I call "Mental Reflex Actions" on which we have little
control. This insight can help us better understand ourselves and our
behavior in our professional lives.
The seminar explains human behaviour in light of the controllable and
the uncontrollable behaviour.
The seminar explains the meaning of subconscious mind, what goes in our
subconscious mind, the unfathomable nature of what goes in the
subconscious mind and how to know your subconscious mind.
